Introduction to Waters of Taiwan Gallery
This gallery features the world's most complete simulation of Taiwan's local aquatic ecosystems. Following the "journey of a water droplet," it tells the story of Taiwan's ecology from rivers to the ocean. You can see unique aquatic environments such as mountain streams, reservoirs, estuaries, and intertidal zones. The Open Ocean tank is the largest in Taiwan (22m wide x 32m long) with a capacity of one million gallons. It is home to large migratory species, including dozens of fish such as sharks, rays, bonitos, and groupers. The touch pool facility also allows you to personally touch intertidal organisms like sea cucumbers, sea urchins, and starfish for an intimate experience.
Introduction to Coral Kingdom Pavilion
The entrance leads you through magnificent corals and colorful schools of fish. After descending past a cylindrical tank, you enter the 84-meter-long underwater tunnel. Shuttling through the massive tanks, you will personally experience the vibrant and lively coral world. Looking up to see fish swimming above feels like being in an underwater world full of endless surprises. Additionally, in the Beluga Tunnel area, you can see the adorable and charming beluga whales greeting visiting tourists.
Introduction to Waters of the World Gallery
Integrating cutting-edge technology and 3D interactive animation, this gallery covers global waters across four major themes: Ancient Oceans, Kelp Forests, Deep Sea, and Polar Seas. It allows visitors to enjoy an educational and entertaining experience within a setting that combines virtual and physical reality.
Eco-Feeding Presentations: Learn Marine Knowledge with Fun
The museum holds daily eco-presentation sessions at scheduled times and locations, such as the Open Ocean feeding in the Waters of Taiwan Gallery, "Dancing with Fish" in the Coral Kingdom Pavilion, and feeding sessions for penguins, kelp forests, seals, and puffins in the Waters of the World Gallery. These allow the public to better understand the mysteries of the marine world. In addition to regular presentations, Chinese and English guided tour reservation services are available to promote Taiwan's precious marine biodiversity through various methods.

Booking Instructions
- Please select the attraction product first and add HSR tickets to enjoy an exclusive 15% discount on reserved seats in Standard and Business Cars.
- Ticket booking availability is subject to THSRC announcements. Current regulations allow booking from 29 days before the departure date (inclusive) up to 60 minutes before departure. On Fridays and Saturdays, tickets can be booked up to four weeks in advance (booking may open earlier for specific holidays; please refer to the THSRC corporate website).
- If you need to cancel your trip, both the attraction ticket and the HSR ticket must be cancelled together; individual cancellations are not permitted.
Ticket Types and Discounts
- Adult Ticket: Purchase designated attraction products to enjoy a 15% discount off the full fare for reserved seats in HSR Standard and Business Cars.
- Concession Ticket: Seniors, individuals with disabilities, or children are eligible for a 50% discount off the full fare. Ticket types and available car categories are subject to THSRC regulations. Concession tickets (Child/Senior/Disabled) can be purchased individually without an attraction product.
Limitations
- Train Number, Time, and Seats: Subject to the system display on this platform. Seats are automatically assigned by the system; seat selection is not available, and adjacent seating is not guaranteed.
- Section Restrictions: One of the stations (origin or destination) must be located in the area of the itinerary. Business Car tickets are not available for the Nangang–Taipei, Nangang–Banqiao, and Taipei–Banqiao sections.
