Booking Instructions

  • Please select an attraction product and add a THSR ticket to enjoy the THSR package discount. Actual discount rates are subject to the selected train service.
  • The opening time for ticket reservations is subject to the announcements of the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation. Current regulations allow bookings from 29 days prior to the date of travel (inclusive) up to 60 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train. Every Friday and Saturday, tickets can be reserved up to the Sunday four weeks later (reservations will open earlier for specific holidays; please refer to the THSR Corporate Website Info).
  • If passengers need to cancel their itinerary, the attraction products and THSR train tickets must be refunded and canceled together; individual cancellation of either item is strictly prohibited.

Ticket Types and Discounts

  • Adult Ticket: Purchase any designated attraction product to enjoy discounted fares on THSR Standard Class and Business Class reserved seats. Actual discount rates are subject to the selected train service.
  • Concession Ticket: Those who qualify for Senior, Concession, or Child status can enjoy a 50% discount on the full fare. The applicable ticket types and available add-on car classes are all handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation. Concession tickets (Child/Senior/Concession) can be purchased individually without being paired with attraction products.

Restrictions and Limitations

  • Train Number, Time Slot, and Seating: Subject to the display on this platform's system. Seats are automatically allocated by the system; no seat selection feature is provided, and adjacent seating is not guaranteed.
  • Route Segment Restrictions: Either the origin or destination station must be a station located in the area of the tour itinerary. Business Car tickets are not available for the Nangang–Taipei, Nangang–Banqiao, and Taipei–Banqiao segments.

1. This is an electronic ticket (QR Code); no physical tickets will be sent separately.
2. After completing the payment, please check your mailbox for the [Payment Success Notification Email] and use the attached QR Code for redemption; or go to the website's [Member Center] → [My Orders] → [Paid] tab → click [View] to use the attached QR Code for redemption.
3. Bring the electronic voucher (QR Code) to the attraction's redemption point, where service staff will verify it for admission. 

| How to Collect THSR Train Tickets:

  • Ticket Type: For a one-way ticket, you will receive 1 set of Voucher Number (Booking Code); for a round-trip ticket, you will receive 2 sets of Voucher Numbers (Outbound/Inbound).
  • Please bring your THSR Booking Code and the Ticket Collector's ID Number used at the time of booking to any THSR station ticket window, automatic ticket vending machine, convenience store (requires an additional handling fee of NT$10 per ticket, total NT$20 for round-trip tickets), or collect via the THSR T-EX Mobile Ticketing App.

※Note 1: For detailed mobile ticketing information and precautions regarding Senior/Concession tickets, ticket distribution features, etc., please refer to the "Ticket Collection Instructions" in the T-EX App. Passengers purchasing concession tickets must prepare valid identification documents for inspection during booking, ticket collection, and boarding.
※Note 2: Tickets under this project collected through the T-EX App must be modified or refunded at a THSR station ticket window.

| Changes to THSR Train Tickets

  • Tickets Not Yet Collected: The departure time and date of the THSR train cannot be changed online. If you need to make changes, please cancel the original order and re-book.
  • Tickets Already Collected (including T-EX collection): Once tickets have been collected, changes or cancellations cannot be processed through this platform. At the latest, please bring your ticket to a THSR station ticket window at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of the designated train to handle changes or refunds. Each ticket is "limited to one change for a train on the same day."
  • In the case of a refund, the ticket fare will be refunded in cash after deducting the handling fee. Please be sure to pay close attention to your train departure time and complete the ticket collection in advance. If you fail to collect your ticket in time and are unable to board the reserved train, no refunds will be accepted.

| Cancellation and Refund of THSR Train Tickets

  • Cancellation of the itinerary requires the discounted THSR tickets to be refunded together; they cannot be retained individually. If the discounted tickets are used individually in violation of the project regulations, the THSR Corporation reserves the right to retroactively claim the regular fare difference.
  • Tickets Not Yet Collected:
    • a. Cancellations made "at least 30 minutes prior" to the departure time of the selected THSR train will incur a 0% handling fee on the THSR ticket fare.
    • b. Cancellations made "within 30 minutes" of the departure time of the selected THSR train will incur a 100% handling fee on the THSR ticket fare.
  • Tickets Already Collected (including T-EX collection):
    • a. At the latest, please bring your ticket to a THSR station ticket window or the convenience store outlet where the ticket was originally collected at least 30 minutes prior to departure to handle the refund. The ticket fare will be refunded in cash after a handling fee is deducted.
    • b. Please obtain the proof of refund and provide it to the customer service personnel of this platform to complete the itinerary cancellation process.
  • Refund Regulations Regarding Typhoon Days:
    • a. From the date a sea typhoon warning is issued until the date it is lifted, passengers may proceed to any station ticket window within 1 year from the date of travel to handle a refund. After station staff confirm that the ticket is unused, the actual paid fare will be refunded, and the handling fee will be waived.
    • b. If you wish to handle the refund at a convenience store at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled train departure time, although the "THSR ticket refund handling fee" can be waived, the "convenience store service fee" will still be charged in accordance with each operator's regulations.
    • c. The handling fees for the original ticket purchase or ticket collection are non-refundable.

※Note 1: THSR tickets and attraction itineraries must be refunded or modified at the same time. If any ticket has already been used or has not been canceled past the train departure time, no refund will be given, and partial cancellations (e.g., refunding only one person for a two-person travel group) are strictly prohibited.
※Note 2: Changes to a reserved designated discount train are limited to one change to another applicable designated train or seat on the same day. If you wish to change the date, route segment, car class, or passenger status, or if the change does not comply with the "applicable designated trains," the original discount will no longer apply. If you have change or refund requests, please process them according to the ticket statuses mentioned above.
※Note 3: Bookings for designated discount trains are only valid for the specific date and train number indicated on the ticket. Passengers who hold a designated discount ticket but choose to board another train on their own accord will not be entitled to the original purchase discount. Those found traveling on other trains without actively purchasing a supplementary ticket will be required to pay the full fare difference and will be charged a breach-of-contract penalty equal to 50% of the fare for the traveled segment.

  • The date of attraction usage cannot be changed online. If you need to make changes, please cancel the original order and re-book. The refund criteria for each attraction itinerary are subject to its specific refund description, and customer service will assist in accordance with the regulations.
  • Attraction tickets must be refunded at the same time as the THSR tickets and cannot be retained individually. If the THSR tickets have already been collected, please handle the ticket refund at a THSR station or through the original collection channel at least 30 minutes before departure, obtain proof of refund, and then go to [Member Center] → [My Orders] → [Apply for Refund] to submit your application.
