| Xpark Metropolitan Aquarium

Xpark is Taiwan's first new metropolitan aquarium. It faithfully reproduces the environments of creatures living in various regions of the Earth through the integration of spatial presentation and technology. In a space where even temperature, humidity, smell, and sound are meticulously calculated, the visual presentation extends from the ceiling to the floor and into the tanks, creating a powerful 360° immersive space. Visitors feel truly immersed, using their five senses to experience each real-life scene. The protagonists are the creatures living there; the mystery of organisms that have evolved and adapted to changing environments is highlighted, and the environmental production, which showcases their charm from various angles, is a major feature. Xpark is a unique edutainment facility in the world that satisfies people's endless "desire for knowledge and joy of discovery."

▲ Formosa Zone - One of Xpark's classic symbols is the four-story high transparent aquarium located in this area. Standing next to the giant aquarium gives one the illusion of diving into the deep sea.

| 【THSR Joint Ticket】Add-on Ticket Purchase

Booking Instructions

  • Please select the attraction product first, then add the THSR ticket purchase to enjoy an exclusive discount of 85% off for reserved seats in Standard and Business Class cabins.
  • The ticket reservation period is subject to the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation's announcement. Current regulations allow booking from 29 days before (including) the travel date up to 60 minutes before the reserved service's departure. On Fridays and Saturdays, tickets can be booked up to the Sunday of the fourth week (Specific holidays will open reservations earlier, please refer to the THSR Corporate Website Information).
  • If travelers need to cancel the itinerary, the attraction itinerary and the THSR ticket must be canceled simultaneously. Neither item can be canceled individually.

Ticket Types and Discounts

  • Adult Ticket: Purchase of the designated attraction product entitles you to a discount of 85% off or more on the full fare for reserved seats in THSR Standard and Business Class cabins.
  • Concessionary Ticket: Individuals meeting the criteria for Senior, Disability (Ai-Xin), or Child status are entitled to a 50% discount off the full fare. The ticket type and available cabin class for add-on purchase follow the relevant regulations of the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation. Concessionary Tickets (Child/Senior/Disability) can be purchased individually without pairing with an attraction product.

Restriction Notes

  • Train Service, Time Slot, Seating: Subject to the display of this platform system. Seats are automatically assigned by the system; no seat selection function is provided, and adjacent seating is not guaranteed.
  • Segment Restriction: One of the departure/arrival stations must be a station in the region of the itinerary. Business Class tickets are not provided for the Nangang–Taipei, Nangang–Banqiao, or Taipei–Banqiao segments.

※ Note: Please read the "Taiwan THSR Joint Ticket Project Personal Data Protection Act Public Statement" content carefully. By completing the THSR Joint Ticket Project order, you indicate that you have read and agreed to the statement.

  1. This is an electronic ticket (QR Code); no physical ticket will be sent separately.
  2. After payment is complete, please check your email for the [Payment Successful Notification]. Use the attached QR Code for verification; alternatively, you can access the QR Code in the website's [Member Center] → [My Orders] → [Paid] tab → Click [View] for verification.
  3. Present the electronic voucher (QR Code) at the verification counter to staff for exchange or scan it at the designated machine.

| THSR Ticket Collection Methods:

  • Ticket Type: You will receive one set of certificate numbers (booking code) for a one-way ticket; for a round-trip ticket, you will receive two sets (outbound/return).
  • Please present your HSR booking code and the ID number of the ticket recipient used during booking, at a THSR station ticket window, automatic ticket machine, convenience store (requires an additional processing fee of NT$10 per ticket, or NT$20 for round-trip) or via the THSR T-EX mobile ticketing App to collect your ticket.

※ Note 1: For detailed mobile ticket collection information and notes concerning rules for Senior/Disability tickets, ticket splitting functionality, etc., please refer to the T-EX App's "Ticket Collection Instructions". Passengers purchasing Concessionary Tickets must prepare valid ID for verification during purchase, collection, and boarding.
※ Note 2: Once tickets for this project have been collected via the T-EX App, any change or refund must be processed at a HSR station ticket window.

| THSR Ticket Changes

  • Ticket Not Yet Collected: THSR travel time and date cannot be changed online. To make changes, please cancel the original order and rebook.
  • Ticket Collected (including T-EX App): Once collected, changes or cancellations cannot be processed via this platform. You must go to the THSR station ticket window at least 30 minutes before the specified travel date's departure to process the change or refund. Changes are limited to one change of train service on the same day only.
  • If a refund is processed, the ticket fare, after deducting the handling fee, will be returned in cash. Please be sure to note your train time and collect your ticket in advance. Refunds will not be accepted if you fail to collect the ticket in time to catch your reserved service.

| THSR Ticket Cancellation and Refund

  • Cancellation of the itinerary must include the refund of the discounted THSR ticket; the THSR ticket cannot be kept separately. If the discounted THSR ticket is used in violation of the project rules, the THSR Corporation reserves the right to retroactively pursue the discounted fare difference.
  • Ticket Not Yet Collected:
    • a. Cancellation more than 30 minutes before the THSR service's scheduled departure time incurs a 0% handling fee on the THSR ticket price.
    • b. Cancellation within 30 minutes of the THSR service's scheduled departure time incurs a handling fee of 100% of the THSR ticket price.
  • Ticket Collected (including T-EX App):
    • a. You must bring the ticket to the THSR station ticket window or the original convenience store where it was collected at least 30 minutes before departure to process the refund. The refund will be returned in cash after deducting the handling fee.
    • b. Obtain the refund proof and provide it to this platform's customer service staff to proceed with the itinerary cancellation.
  • Typhoon Refund Policy:
    • a. From the date the sea typhoon warning is issued until it is lifted, passengers may apply for a refund at any station ticket window within 1 year of the travel date. After the ticket has been verified by station staff as unused, the full collected fare will be refunded, without handling fees.
    • b. If you wish to process a refund at a convenience store more than 30 minutes before the original train's departure, the "THSR refund fee" will be waived, but the "convenience store service fee" must still be charged according to the store's regulations.
    • c. The original purchase or collection handling fee is not refundable.

※ Note 1: Both the THSR ticket and the attraction itinerary must be processed for change/refund simultaneously. If any ticket has been used or if the THSR ticket is not canceled before the departure time, no refund will be granted. Partial refunds (e.g., refunding only one person from a two-person booking) are not permitted.
※ Note 2: Changes to a designated discounted service are limited to one change to another applicable designated service or seating on the same day only. If you wish to change the date, route segment, car type, or status, or if the change does not comply with the "Applicable Designated Services," the original discount will not apply. For change or refund requests, please follow the ticket status procedures outlined above.
※ Note 3: The designated discounted service ticket is only valid for the specified date and service time on the ticket. Passengers who use the discounted ticket to change to another service without proper procedure will lose the original discount. If caught without having paid the fare difference, they will be charged the full fare difference plus a 50% penalty on the fare difference for the traveled segment.

| Attraction Change and Cancellation Notes:

  • The attraction usage date cannot be changed online. To make changes, please cancel the original order and rebook. The refund standard for each attraction follows its respective refund instructions, and customer service will assist in processing the request according to regulations.
  • The attraction ticket must be canceled simultaneously with the THSR ticket; it cannot be kept separately. If the THSR ticket has already been collected, you must process the refund and obtain proof at the THSR station or the original collection channel 30 minutes before departure, then submit the application via [Member Center] → [My Orders] → [Apply for Refund].

  • Once any product or complimentary gift in the package has been redeemed or used, returns or refunds will not be accepted.
  • Please be sure to check the operating hours of the redemption location. If redemption is unavailable at a certain time, please redeem during other normal business hours within the validity period.
  • This ticket is limited to one person per ticket. Each electronic ticket can only be used once and cannot be reused after verification/entry.
  • In the event of force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, or heavy rain), the organizer may postpone or cancel the event for public safety. The organizer will announce and contact guests in advance and reserves the right to modify, terminate, or change the details of the event content for any unforeseen circumstances.

  • When purchasing Student, Child, or Concession tickets, please bring relevant identification documents for verification before entry. If valid identification cannot be provided, a new full-fare adult ticket must be purchased. Concessionary status holders are not entitled to request partial refunds or fare differences after admission.
  • Relevant identification details are as follows:
    • Student Ticket: Original valid student ID of the individual (Recent graduates must provide the official admission notice or registration form for the current year, along with an ID card).
    • Child Ticket, Concession Ticket: Disability certificate, Pregnant Woman Health Manual, National ID card, or a government-issued photo ID containing the ID number and date of birth sufficient to prove identity.

  • To maintain viewing quality and ensure biological safety, please adhere to the following guidelines upon entering the aquarium and cooperate with the service personnel's guidance for a pleasant experience for all visitors.
    • No outside food or drinks allowed
    • No smoking
    • No pets allowed (except for working dogs)
    • No flash photography, tripods, or selfie sticks allowed
    • Do not knock on or climb the display windows
    • No loud talking or use of loudspeakers
    • No feeding of the animals
    • For any other matters determined by the aquarium to affect viewing order or biological safety, the aquarium reserves the right to issue warnings, stop the action, or refuse admission.
  • If exhibition areas are affected by renovation, construction, or major special incidents, the aquarium reserves the right to close parts of the area as needed.
  • Some exhibition areas and activities within the aquarium require additional fees. Please refer to the official website for related content or inquire with on-site staff.
