How to Book THSR & Attraction Combo Tickets


Booking Guide

  • Access this platform via the official attraction website. By pairing an attraction product with your THSR ticket, you receive an exclusive discount of 15% off for reserved seats in Standard and Business Cars.
  • THSR ticket availability follows the official Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation announcement: Bookings open from 29 days before travel date (inclusive) up to 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Tickets for Sundays up to four weeks out can be booked every Friday and Saturday (Check the THSR corporate website for special holiday booking schedules).
  • Cancellations must be processed for both the attraction package and the THSR ticket simultaneously. Partial cancellation of either item is not permitted.

Ticket Types and Discounts

  • Adult Ticket: By purchasing a designated attraction product, you can enjoy a 15% discount on the full fare for reserved seats in THSR Standard and Business Cars.
  • Concession Ticket: Eligible passengers (Seniors, Disabled, or Children) receive a 50% discount off the full fare. Ticket rules and available car classes follow THSR regulations. Concession Tickets can be purchased separately without an attraction product.

Restrictions:

  • Train/Seat Allocation: Subject to system display. Seats are automatically assigned; seat selection is unavailable, and adjacent seating is not guaranteed.
  • Section Restriction: The origin or destination station must be within the attraction's region. Business Car tickets are not available for Nangang–Taipei, Nangang–Banqiao, or Taipei–Banqiao sections.

How to Collect Your Attraction and High-Speed Rail Tickets


How to Collect Attraction Tickets

  • Please navigate to the platform's [Member Center] → [My Orders] → [Paid] → [View] to check your order details and retrieve your electronic voucher.
  • The system will also automatically send the electronic ticket (QR Code) to the email address of the order contact person. Travelers can present the QR Code for on-site scanning to enter or collect the ticket.

High-Speed Rail Ticket Collection

  • Ticket Type: A one-way ticket will receive 1 set of voucher numbers (Reservation Code); a round-trip ticket will receive 2 sets of voucher numbers (Outbound/Return).
  • Please use the High-Speed Rail Reservation Code and the ID Number used during booking to collect your ticket at the High-Speed Rail station's ticket counter, automatic ticket machines, convenience stores (an additional service fee of NT$10 per ticket, or NT$20 for a round-trip ticket, applies), or via the THSR T-EX Mobile Ticketing App.If you miss your original THSR service, you may switch to any unreserved (non-designated) seat class on other services on the same day.

Note 1:For detailed mobile ticket collection information and precautions regarding Elderly/Concession Tickets (Respect/Love Tickets) ticket collection rules and ticket splitting functions, please refer to the T-EX App's "Ticket Collection Instructions." Passengers purchasing Concession Tickets must have valid identification ready for inspection when purchasing, collecting, and boarding the train.

Note 2:Tickets purchased under this specific project/promotion, once collected via the T-EX App, must be processed for changes or refunds only at a High-Speed Rail station ticket counter.

Notes on Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds


Attraction Changes and Cancellations

  • The attraction usage date cannot be modified online. If a change is required, please cancel the original order first and then make a new reservation. The refund standard for each attraction itinerary is subject to its specific refund instructions, and customer service will process the request manually according to the regulations.
  • Attraction tickets must be cancelled together with the High-Speed Rail (THSR) ticket and cannot be retained separately. If the THSR ticket has already been collected, please process the refund at an THSR station or the original collection channel 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time and obtain a certificate. Then, submit the application via [Member Center] → [My Orders] → [I want a Refund].

High-Speed Rail Ticket Changes

  • Tickets Not Yet Collected: The THSR travel time and date cannot be modified online. If a change is required, please cancel the original order first and then make a new reservation.
  • Tickets Already Collected (Including T-EX App Collection): Once tickets have been collected, modifications or cancellations cannot be processed through this platform. You must go to a Taiwan High Speed Rail station ticket counter with your physical ticket at the latest 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time on the designated travel date to process changes or refunds. Each ticket is limited to one change of train departure on the same day.
  • If processing a refund, the ticket fare will be returned in cash after deducting the required handling fee. Please be sure to pay close attention to your scheduled departure time and collect your tickets in advance. No refund will be provided if you fail to collect your ticket in time and thus miss your reserved train.

High-Speed Rail Ticket Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation of the itinerary must include the refund of the discounted THSR ticket, and the ticket cannot be retained separately. If the discounted ticket is used individually in violation of the project regulations, the THSR Corporation reserves the right to pursue the difference in the discounted fare.

  • Tickets Not Yet Collected:
    • a. Cancellation more than 30 minutes before the departure time of the selected THSR service: 0% service fee deducted from the THSR ticket fare.
    • b. Cancellation within 30 minutes of the departure time of the selected THSR service: 100% service fee deducted from the THSR ticket fare.
  • Tickets Already Collected (Including T-EX App Collection):
    • a. Please present the ticket at the THSR station ticket counter or the original convenience store where the ticket was collected, no later than 30 minutes before departure, to process the refund. The ticket fare will be returned in cash after the handling fee is deducted.
    • b. Obtain the refund certificate and provide it to the platform's customer service staff to proceed with the itinerary cancellation.
  • Typhoon-Related Refund Policy:
    • a. From the date of issuance of a sea warning for a typhoon until the date the warning is lifted, passengers may process a refund at any station ticket counter within one year from the travel date. Upon confirmation by station staff that the ticket has not been used, the full actual ticket price will be refunded, and the handling fee will be waived.
    • b. If a passenger wishes to process a refund at a convenience store up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time, the "THSR refund handling fee" may be waived, but the "convenience store service fee" must still be collected according to each operator's regulations.
    • c. The original purchasing or ticket collection service fee will not be refunded.

Note 1: THSR tickets and attraction itineraries must be processed for cancellation or change simultaneously. No refund will be given if either ticket has been used or if the cancellation is made after the scheduled departure time, nor is partial cancellation permitted (e.g., refunding only one person from a party of two).

Note 2: Changes to a specifically designated discounted service are limited to one change on the same day to another applicable designated service or seat. If you wish to change the date, route section, car type, or passenger identity, or if the change does not meet the "applicable designated service" criteria, the original discount will no longer apply. For changes or refunds, please follow the ticket status procedures mentioned above.

Note 3: The designated discounted service is only valid for the specific date and train service printed on the ticket. Passengers using a designated discounted ticket who voluntarily switch to another train service shall not enjoy the original purchase discount. If caught without actively making up the fare difference, the passenger will be required to pay the full fare difference and an additional 50% penalty on the fare difference for the section traveled.
